Corgi dogs have short legs and a small stock body. This doesn't stop the to be very fast and smart. Those legs doesn't stop Corgi dogs from being slow and stumpy. They have the abilities to run and jump as normal sized dogs. People used the Corgi dogs on farms for gathering cows and sheep.
Their size was great for that because the cows couldn't kick them. Those dogs are very devoted companions for the family and even towards the strangers. They are also very good with small children. Their medical problems can be with their spine because is so long. If you do not keep them active they can easily get overweight. They life from 13-15 years.
